Translation from English to Italian:
Bold Translations services for companies and translation agencies
You can count on Bold Translations to translate your technical and commercial documents into Italian or to adapt the content of your websites, e-commerce, SaaS solutions, apps, products, and services to suit the expectations of the Italian market. Here are some of the many ways I can help you:
Localization: translation and adaptation of websites, e-commerce, software, user interfaces, and apps I translate and adapt your English-language content into Italian, my native language. Localization is more than just “translation,” as it involves fully adapting the content of the site or software – texts, microtexts, commands, and so on – so that the Italian version of your content speaks to those who live and work in a different country – Italy, in our case.
The adaptation is both linguistic and cultural in tune with the conventions of the product's intended market. The goal is to make sure that what you are selling is accessible and usable for users and is perceived as genuine and up to their expectations (which means it sells). Bold Translations localization service includes:
-
Content translation and adaptation
I start with a package of texts and elements to be translated (these include user interface text strings, SEO tags, UX and UI elements, texts in images and packages, error messages, user manuals, licenses, guidelines, etc.) and I adapt them to the Italian market.
Here my job is to adapt them to the requirements of the Italian language and the Italian market. For example, I adapt the formats of dates and times, phone numbers and addresses, measurement units, the first day of the week, decimal and thousands separators, and so on. -
Delivery of translated content
Once the content has been translated and adapted, I will deliver the documents in the same formats as the files you provided. -
In-context review
Once the site content is online or the software and app texts have been uploaded, I will review them in context. It is not just a matter of proofreading the translated texts, it is also an in-depth functional check to make sure the software or site works correctly. There are several checks involved. For example, I make sure that:- the text displays correctly
- it does not overlap anywhere
- the text does not go outside the edges of the buttons
- the links work
I translate technical and commercial texts technical data sheets, manuals, istructions, price lists, presentations, product descriptions, and business communications.
I will be your single point of contact. I worked for many years in-house in a company, so I thoroughly understand the needs of organizations that need to translate their corporate texts quickly and accurately.
I guarantee my full commitment, professionalism, and respect for deadlines all founded on high-quality translations – strictly from rigorosamente English to Italian, my native language.
I also proofread Italian translations done by others and deliver a text that is correct grammatically and stylistically and in terms of message and terminology.
Trust me with:
-
Editing translated texts
When editing, I look at the original text in English and review its translation into Italian. I ensure that the message has been translated faithfully, that the terminology is correct, and that it is error-free. -
Proofreading translated texts
When proofreading, I correct grammatical and language errors and improve the text structure, if necessary.
I check texts translated into Italian by machine translation software. Post-editing is the linguistic verification by a human translator of texts produced by a machine translation service.
This review may be at different levels depending on the quality of the source text and the result you want.
Bold Translations offers two types of post-editing:
-
Quick post-editing
The text is minimally revised and corrected. I will make no stylistic changes and only correct serious translation errors that could compromise understanding. The editing is meant to achieve a quality that is “good enough” rather than perfect.
This is a good approach when the goal is to make information available to readers who do not know the source language and give them a general idea of the content.
I recommend this type of editing, for example, when a text is for internal use. -
Full post-editing
I edit on all textual levels – grammatical, spelling, semantic, syntactic, lexical, terminological, and content – to achieve a result comparable to a translation by a professional translator. I suggest full post-editing when the text is to be published. Compared to editing or proofreading, this is a quicker edit – though full post-editing can take longer – but the final result depends on the quality of the original text you send me. However, not all texts are suited to post-editing. For example, I do not suggest using machine translation for creative or literary writings, whereas it can be useful for texts with technical terminology.
I will create a glossary of your technical terms to ensure that there is terminological consistency between documents. The glossary is intended for you and your staff to have a single reference source always at hand to consult for doubts about the most suitable terminology in different languages (English and Italian).
I coordinate translation projects, prepare style guides and glossaries, and make sure guidelines and terminology are respected. I communicate with translator teams to support their alignment with project manager teams.

Why Choose Bold Translations
Before becoming a professional freelance translator, I worked in-house for many years,
covering diverse roles in many departments, including sales, marketing, and export departments. I was in charge of translating and proofreading texts.
This experience gave me advanced technical and terminological skills that are hard to acquire working only as a freelance translator.
I understand the company processes and procedures. I know the right questions to ask, what to expect,
and how to communicate with the company staff as well as the external collaborators and agencies involved in writing and translating texts.
I know both sides of the coin – the perspective of the translator and that of the company – which helps me to be more flexible and organized
and respond to the needs of companies and agencies alike.
I work meticulously and punctually. I am a perfectionist. I believe in quality work and take pride in my profession and skills.
